When it arrives it will be the only movie in my collection I haven't watched. I finally caught up

...now I just have to get to my 16 unplayed handheld games, 16 unplayed 360/PS3/XBOX games, and 50 unread books

I desperately gotta get caught up and weed out a lot of the less interesting stuff.

Games... I'll never be caught up where that's concerned.

I never would of either, until I decided to just get rid of 100% of my PS1, PS2, N64, Gamecube, most of my PC and PSP games, and a lot of lesser DS titles.

Of course that isn't counting the SNES and Genesis collections, which I plan on getting to one at a time for the rest of my life.  So I feel those are a lot less time-sensitive than the stuff I'll gradually get rid as I play through it

I keep looking at my copy of God Hand that I bought like ten years ago and thinking, "Gee, I gotta play that someday."

It's part of the reason I haven't fired it up. I know I'll like the presentation, but it sounds hard-as-balls, and if it's anything like Bayonetta it's going to have a billion combo moves that I'll never remember so I'll just keep spamming the same three or four I memorized.

If I paypal you $5 can you make me one as well?

Then at some point I'll print out some covers for Alien 2 and Fright Night and have the next best thing to owning them

That's doable. I don't have PP anymore so a check would need to be mailed, lol.

And it'll probably be a while because I don't have any more dual-layered discs and there's some stuff coming out I wanna grab that'll eat my money for a bit.

Midnight Legacy must have been a little retarded considering this disc is JUST over the 25 GB limit for a single layer (closer to 22.something actually). The movie itself fits on a single-layered disc with no compression, but for four times the cost you get a couple extra gigs of uninteresting special effects outtakes that look no different from the main movie's shots, a Dutch VHS trailer, and a static menu.

So, I'll leave that to your discretion (and wallet): movie only with chapter stops, which costs me a buck to burn, or a 1:1 clone on a dual-layered disc.

Whichever. I can wait for you to get more dual-layered discs

Also, glad I waited to get this since this steelbook looks pretty snazzy

30% off all DVDs and Blu-rays from Troma's store. I wanted to pick up There's Nothing Out There (great movie, own the old DVD, want the new features and short films) but wanna grab one or two other items to save on shipping. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Might just be crazy enough to rebuy the Toxic Avenger box, if it comes with the uncut Toxie 2. Then again I should probably just hold out for Blu-rays.

The Taint sounds like it may be worthwhile. From the Blu-ray.com review, "There's really no way to adequately describe the various bodily fluids on display in abundance throughout The Taint, at least not on a 'family site' such as Blu-ray.com. Along with the requisite amount of blood, guts and brain matter, within the first few seconds of the film we're also awash in feces, vomit and ejaculate." Would probably be the only 720p Blu-ray that I ever own (if I get it).

I'm thinking I'm going to go for the Wild at Heart pre-order when it comes up, and bundle it up with The Other and Thunderbolt and Lightfood so I maximize shipping. Still, its hard to spend that much on three titles when I know I could get twice as many from any other boutique label. Twilight Time can suck it.

(yes I realize there is a foreign release or 3 of WaH)

I really don't know what's going on with WAH. There's plenty of foreign releases, but I'm unsure which have good PQ and which don't; heard there's at least two masters, don't know if that's true. I kinda wanted to get the UK box set, but considering I'd have to burn expensive discs for each film unless I get an all-region player, and because I'm curious to see if there's room for improvement in eventual US releases (and I already have Blue Velvet), I'm thinking of skipping it and just getting the individual releases as they come out.

Short story: I'll probably get TT's release, too.

Since they were all under $10, I got:

Flesheater
Zombie Holocaust
Burial Ground
The Hills Have Eyes 2

That should finish off the Shriek Show titles I'm interested in.  Now I just have to start digging into the Redemption line-up

It is pretty funny that I now have The Hills Have Eyes 2, Halloween 2 & 3, Phantasm 2, the Friday the 13th series doc, Psycho 2 & 3, Highlander 2, Futureworld, Night of the Living Dead 1990, Creepshow 2, etc., and yet none of the originals. Some day I'll get around to fixing that and replacing my DVDs

CDJapan still has the Japanese Blu of NOTLD really cheap. Not as cheap as when I got it (something like $12 shipped), but still a good price and supposed to be one of the best Blu-rays for the movie, and considered the best for Region A. I'm certainly pleased with it, but I think I'll keep my Elite DVD for the 4:3 framing.

Also, they've both received flak, but I'm pleased with both releases of the first Halloween, especially the newest one.

Blu-ray.com tells me you don't have Bad Biology. Should maybe get that if you like Henenlotter films.

Listed Alien 2 on Amazon, we'll see if someone will buy it for $100. Somehow I doubt copies are really being sold for that.

I'll trade you for a sealed Body Double :O

...you probably already have it though.  And A2OE is worth more.

Yep, snagged a copy from TCM when SAE was out of stock.

What I don't have is Vinegar Syndrome's Jekyll and Hyde Portfolio. Missed the boat there, but heard Diabolik DVD should be getting in some copies. Hopefully I don't miss it.

I'll sell ya A2OE for $65 shipped. :O

Give me some time to consider it. I do want it, just have to figure out how badly

...unless it sells, in which case I'll take that as a sign
