| Well fuck me, I hate this limited release shit.
I'm not at all familiar with any of the others, so I'll probably just get Nailgun Massacre. |

| Scorpion just gave up, and moved to a LE model (temporarily selling on Code Red's site)
I think at this point it's safe to say that every non-Studio label is going to be using the LE system soon enough. It's the only way to stay in the black as the format dies. |

| Unfortunately so. Honestly, it's making me strongly reconsider my desire to own certain movies, and is making me much more skeptical of blind buys. Can't be flushing hundreds down the toilet for a handful of titles anymore.
I'm even considering emailing to see if I can cancel my Code Red order (if it hasn't shipped).
But then there's the stupid, nagging feeling that "you can make back the money, maybe make a profit since it's limited." Urgh. |

| I'm starting to appreciate Scream Factory a bit more. They may have shitty encoding on all their Blu-rays and often use subpar or even downright shitty masters, but at least most of their releases are of pretty darn good quality and can be had for less than $20. I prefer that to paying out the nose for limited releases. |

| The edge enhancement on their Carpenter titles is inexcusable, though. I imported the German Prince of Darkness and intend to get the Italian They Live eventually. Bad encoding is one thing, EE is an eyesore like no other. |

| Dammit, I wanna see this so bad but all the Blu-rays look like crap. If I could pick up a US release for under ten bucks I'd get it, but it's all imports.
Might just have to rent it on Amazon Instant or VUDU and hope someday there'll be a new master struck. |

| Twin Peaks box release date announced (sometime in July, can't be fucked to look it up), includes Fire Walk with Me PLUS AN HOUR AND A HALF OF DELETED SCENES FROM IT. Best Blu-ray news ever. |

| I have the gold box and have been waiting for a blu-ray announcement. In fact most David Lynch movies aren't on Blu-Ray and I think it's upsetting. |

| wank or Spl00ge, have you seen Hard Times? I love Walter Hill's The Warriors and Streets of Fire, considering picking this one up. $35 is a lot to plunk down on a movie I haven't seen, but I suppose you can't really lose with Charles Bronson. |

| Color timing's a bit weird, I never knew the sky could look so green, but in terms of detail it's so glorious that I don't even mind. |

| Hey Abs, I'm trying to remember a Ninja Turtles comic series that I read looong ago. I think it was black and white, and pretty adult. And I'm pretty sure I remember Shredder's hand being cut off, I think on top of a roof. Sound familiar? |

| The original Mirage series by Eastman and Laird. Shredder was killed in the first issue because they only ever thought it would be a one-off that woudn't sell, lol. The first movie was culled from a few key issues and is a really faithful adaptation. The comics are rarely all that adult (though not elementary school level either) and much of the violence happens off-panel, but Kevin Eastman and Simon Bisley did do a miniseries called Bodycount (a Raphael and Casey Jones story) that gets pretty insane with the gore. |

| I hate that I'm even considering buying that $65 edition of Possession. Despite wanting to shrink my collection, spend less money, and free up shelf space, I know how beautiful those Mondo Vision boxes are. FUUUUUUU—
Shout is doing a Tales from the Crypt/The Vault of Horror double feature Blu-ray with the latter uncut. Gon' be tits, even if both movies are gonna be on one disc with awful compression. |

| Just saw that Scream Factory has been around for two years and couldn't understand how that could possibly be, but then remembered I had an entire year robbed from me by depression so it now makes sense lol. |
