| I KNOW RIGHT
just booked flights, have a grand on my card. We'll see what my tips are like tonight. If I get like 150 bucks I think I'm going to buy it. |

| If you want the full series, go for it. :o The DVDs look all right, and you get a dorky Turtle Party Wagon to house 'em in. My only concern would be that the discs might scratch because there's nothing protecting them; there was a UK Phantasm set that housed the discs similarly, and people complained of scratched discs.
Maybe watch some episodes before you buy, though. The first season (all five episodes) is awesome, but beyond that, I'm having a really tough time having my attention held. Every episode feels the same, quite honestly, and oftentimes the jokes and such aren't even that amusing. I own the series 'cos I'm some kind of nutter, but I've only made it like halfway through season two. |

| I was a huge fan of this show when I was younger. I'd probably go as far to say this and GI Joe were easily my favorite shows growing up.
Shit, I haven't seen any of it in over 20 years though. I'm not sure I'd think of highly of them now. |

| I loved this cartoon when I was a kid; I still have tons of VHS tapes at my dad's house, which were sold only having two random episodes put together (like one tape about Leonardo, which would have two separate Leonardo-focused episodes, and other tapes focused on the other Turtles, etc.), as well as some recorded tapes from periods like the Europe vacation and the "red sky" episodes.
I've thought about getting the first season DVD before, since it's easily the best of the series, but I might check this out, since this way I could watch the whole series as I pleased. |
