SUMMER SLAUGHTER 2012 Official Line-Up and Dates Announced;

The most extreme tour of the year has returned with its most devastating and anticipated line-up yet. The 6th annual Summer Slaughter Tour, presented by Indie Merch Store, Peavey, Ibanez and SoundCheck Hollywood, is now officially slated to run from July 20th through August 25th. It features such heavyweights as Cannibal Corpse, Between The Buried and Me, The Faceless, Periphery, Veil of Maya, Job For A Cowboy, Goatwhore, Exhumed and Cerebral Bore, with special guests TBA in each city such as The Contortionist, Rings of Saturn, Fallujah and more.

Ash Avildsen (Summer Slaughter Founder) states: “Without a doubt, this is the biggest year in the history of the tour. We are honored to have such an incredible, diverse group of musicians all on the same bill. It’s brutal, classic, progressive, fresh and still the most extreme tour of the year. Drink lots of water before you show up and get ready to rage!”

General Admission Tickets go on sale Friday April 27th. VIP Tickets will be available starting tonight from SoundCheck Hollywood.

2nd year in a row I'm not going. Cannibal Corpse and BtBaM are the only ones I'd go for really and even then I've seen both multiple times and have no desire to see BtBaM until they get some new material out. Same with Faceless. Didn't like VoM's latest album. Lost interest in Periphery. Exhumed is okay. Goatwhore is okay. Not worth my 40$

I want to see Cannibal Corpse, Between the Buried and Me, The Faceless, Periphery, and Goatwhore, so I'll probably go.
