fucking died some days ago, and that makes me really sad. Dude was awesome. I may have to watch The Last House on the Left and The House on the Edge of the Park in memory. Remember him for his mad raping ways.

Didn't realize who you meant until you mentioned the movies. Guy was getting to be fairly old, though, wasn't he?

Maybe I'll go watch Last House. Never seen House on the Edge of the Park, though.

He was 75. I can't help but see that as being an incredibly young age to die.

House on the Edge is pretty boss. It's by the same director who did Cannibal Holocaust. It's kind of a Last House ripoff in ways, in the sense of capitalizing on something big, but it's certainly unique and fascinating.

I tried looking for it before. This was before I was savvy about downloading stuff. I could probably find it these days. There are a bunch of old exploitation movies I need to check out. Still haven't seen Cannibal Ferox, either.

I dunno, 75 seems like a reasonable age to me. My grandmother is 77. She really doesn't look that old to me. Sometimes I wonder about how long she has left. It's not like I want her to die. I'd be really sad about it... but I'm not surprised by people in that age range going.

I guess I'm just not accustomed to when most people go out; my family seems to consist of long-lifers. My great-grandparents all lasted to their 90s I believe, my one grandpa lived to be 93, my other grandpa's in his 90s, my grandmothers are nearly 90, and I suspect my parents will (hopefully) last till their 90s. Which is kind of scary to think about regarding my dad 'cos that's only a little over twenty years from now. (He was 43 when I was born.)

ANYWAY

download that shit.

What are some good 60's and 70s exploitation movies I should check out?

I don't think I want to live much past 80. Life seems pretty pointless and miserable when you're too decrepit and fragile to be able to do anything for yourself.

I don't want to live that long of a life, either.

Life expectancy has changed. An 80 year old today won't be the same as an 80 year old in 60 years. Tongue

My dad says the same thing about himself though. He points out some braindead old dude and says, "If I ever get like that shoot me."

Thing is he's almost 80 but everyone guess he's around 50 or something. He definitely doesn't look or act like some old fogey.

My exposure's a bit limited, but a favorite of mine is I Drink Your Blood. Then for some Jap exploitation, it doesn't get any better than Terrifying Girls' High School: Lynch Law Classroom.
