Always thought they were releasing a new full length this year, but I guess not? Some re-recorded version of Le Secret came out today on Amazon...

There is a new album coming out. This rerecording was announced years ago.

Yeah, I see the new one has pretty much been dogged everywhere.

Best Alcest was the first album by the way. I haven't managed to wrap my head around the last one as of yet. We'll see.

Ehrm... I'm confused. I just listened to the re-recorded versions, and in my mind they absolutely trample the old ones, and Le Secret was always my favourite Alcest-release. What's wrong with the new one?

Either way, both versions are on the disc, so if anyone missed the original EP (which I know many have), this is a great way to get to know the beginning of the band.
