So yeah, I haven't been to the IGN Movies Lobby for awhile and I don't really browse cinema forums, so I don't know if this thing is well-known around these parts, or was/is in vogue with the hipsters or anything like that, but I figure it may be new to at least one person. Mixture of well-known and more obscure stuff from the last 20 years or so. I've been trying to get through it for the last year and most of the stuff on there I hadn't seen has usually been pretty good or even great. They also add new entries every other Thursday.

I didn't read your post and just assumed it would be unknown movies. But I was like 'Wait... I've seen a lot of this stuff.' But yeah, I'd never heard of it.

141/159 now. 5 or so of those are in my instant queue which I plan on getting to over my vacation

I'd say the only movie in the entire list (other than Manos, Troll 2, Birdemic, The Room, etc.) that is outright terrible is Boondock Saints

Boondock Saints is good though and Pi blows dick.

Also, you better not be a gigantic faggot and skip over Millennium Actress 'cos it's anime, 'cos that movie is really good. I think you'd really like the director's first movie, Perfect Blue. It's basically a giallo in cartoon form.

I Heart Huckabees also sucks a fantastic amount of dick. There's probably a lot of movies you've seen there that should be thrown in the "downright terrible" pile.

Perfect Blue is fucking awesome, but I haven't seen Millennium Actress. Also, both Boondock Saints and Pi are great.

Pretty good list, but I haven't seen any of the ones you haven't seen and quite a lot that you have.

Boondock Saints is a gigantic steaming pile. The only good part is when they shoot the cat.

Sign up for a month to get Netflix DVDs, I'm sure they've got that shizz. Pretty sure that's how I saw Millennium Actress.
