Both seasons up on Netflix instant streaming, in HD.

I might have to re-watch it again. Thinking

Fuuuuuuck, HD? That pretty much makes my DVD set worthless, and I haven't even watched it yet.

:(

Well, except Nutlix may not include the pilot. But still. SHOULDA WATCHED THIS SHIT WHEN WHAT I BOUGHT DIDN'T FEEL SO OBSOLETE.

It doesn't have the international pilot though!

Well, damn. Guess my DVD set's good for sum'in...until a Blu-ray version comes out.

Halfway through the pilot right now and it's awesome. S'pose I'll watch the European pilot another time.

I read you shouldn't watch the international pilot first so you're good in that aspect.

I personally have not watched the int pilot yet.

I'll probably watch it after I'm done with the series and movie...which may be pretty soon. I just finished the first season, and it's amazing.

:O

Kurt should be watching this. Deadly Premonition is basically Twin Peaks: The Video Game.

I'd suggest watching the movie before the second season because the movie is more of a prequel to the first season but doesn't really have anything to do with the second season.

I watched the first episode of this last night. Only have 2 gripes with it so far.

The audio sucks. The voices are so quiet, that in order to hear clearly I have to turn the volume up. Then any sound effects are fucking loud as hell.

Some of the acting was incredibly over-dramatic. Sure this isn't really something I should be complaining about, but it was kind of annoying how EVERYONE was completely devastated by Laura's death, even the fucking principal was crying like a bitch.

Well, when you're in a small town where practically every resident knows each other, that's kinda how it is. Even when you don't know the person all that closely, you still care for your neighbors.

Also, the show kind of adopts and satirizes the overdramatic elements of soap operas, and it does it so shamelessly it makes me smile.

Dunno why you have beef with the audio. I think the levels all sound great.

Ha, yeah. There's really nothing spoiled: Laura's death and the mystery surrounding it is the premise of the show.

Well there seems to be that kind of cheesy overacting thing going on with the majority of David Lynch's work. I think for Twin Peaks it works.

Blue Velvet in particular has some really bizarre acting. It's also my favorite thing the guy's ever done.

Well, except I might be liking Twin Peaks even more. :o

Rewatching it on Netflix too. FUCK YEAH THIS SHOW.

Can't wait to see what you faggots think of the finale. Also, episode 14, Lonely Souls, is awesome as hell.

Haven't watched the show for days. DAAAAAYS. But, I'll probably resume tonight once my brother gets back from work (like 3:30-ish) if I'm not too sleepy.

Trouble is, we have craptastic innernetz, and my dad, instead of doing the sensible thing of buying cable innanat and TV (I told him I'd pay for like half of it), he sticks with the shitty DickSuckingLips and uses a gay little TV box that streams channels through our connection (connexion if you're a British or Canadian faggot) and sucks up a whole lot of bandwidth and doesn't even display all that good of image quality. And since my grandma's been living with us recently, she has nothing to do here but watch TV all day, so it sucks all the buttwidth and I can only watch Netflix HD stuffz late at night, DAMMIT FUCKING ALL.

My brother nearly ruined this show's theme song for me by pointing out that the main melody is very similar to "The Loco-Motion".

Hope I just ruined it for all you homos.

It always reminded me of the final fantasy 7 music.

Does that make it better or worse for you? Tongue

Better. Not sayin' "The Loco-Motion" ain't a cool song either, I'd just rather not associate such a peaceful song with such a poppy, upbeat song.
