What is so great about them? Anytime I try to listen to a song I can't even listen to half of it. I mean, really, I was beginning to think all the love for them was just people joking.

Actually, I'm listening to the one you posted right now. This actually sounds alright.

And listening to the actual recorded version... I don't really like it. Live was good, though.

OP song is oooooooooooooold and Odd Future fucking suck hard. Aesop Rock, Dalek and Dark Time Sunshine are the only active hip-hop acts truly worth much these days (Kool Keith might be laying low for now as far a I know).

Nah, Brotha Lynch Hung is all you need, and he's still releasing albums.

I think Odd future is okay. I respect them for not being another t payne, lil wayne, whatever else garbage people are listening to now in the hip hop genre. I think it's possible to say they are today's Wu Tang even though they aren't nearly as good. Aesop Rock is actually playing in Berkeley with Atmosphere for 30 or 40 bucks (relatively cheap for a hip hop show I guess) and I'm considering going. Then again I might be spending 50-60 bucks to go way down south and see this (not sure how this site works with links or anything so I'll just copy/paste it and you can do the same. http://c0004616.cdn2.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/PD_11_acts_final.jpg

I don't even remember making this post lol.

Odd Future aren't too bad, the solo stuff by Earl Sweatshirt and Tyler is better. However they're definitely not the only good Hip-Hop acts out there today.
