We were talking about anime and he was saying Star Blazers was one of the first one he saw and asked if I had ever heard of it. I said no and he was like what?

I'm looking at it now on wikipedia.

Original run May 8, 1979 – December 4, 1984 Tongue

However, I'll probably look into it now thanks to him.

I've never heard of it, either.

I saw some pictures of it and recognized seeing the characters before but I never knew what it was from or anything.

Checked amazon 100 bucks for the first season. Sheeeit. I added it to my netflix queue instead. Tongue

Sheeeit, youtube.

Ever seen Corpse Princess? It's a recent anime. I saw one episode of it and it was kind of cool. Thought about giving it it's own board.

Never heard of it.

Newest anime I've heard of is Gurren Lagann and Black Lagoon. Both of which I own but haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I just finished Elfen Lied. Tongue

Toppen Gurren Lagann and Elfen Lied are sooooooo goooooooooood.

Black Lagoon are pretty sweet as well.

I just started watching Paranoia Agent. I remember seeing random episodes of it on Adult Swim, but could never remember the name of it.

Shit is SO ca$h.

I wish Paranoia Agent wasn't so expensive. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I'm still sad Satoshi Kon died. Sad

After Paranoia Agent I may look into Serial Experiments Lain, Perfect Blue or Darker Than Black.

I'd recommend Perfect Blue along with all of Satoshi Kon's other films like Millennium Actress, Tokyo Godfathers and Paprika!

I only have the first disc of Serial Experiments Lain but I liked it. Now it's OOP. Lame.

No way. He did Paprika? I've seen clips of it and it looks nuts. I need to get on that.

Paranoia Agent has some bizarre stuff in it, but there have been scenes that have made my butthole pucker up and blown my mind. Awesome stuff.
