The game really only has two levels or whatever... so yeah, that's a strike against it. And the surfing... how the fuck do you even surf? I still can't figure that segment out, to be honest. The skateboarding at first seems kind of fucked. But I played it for a little realized it was really awesome. Okay, so only half the game is decent and I want to defend it? Well, yeah. A lot of NES games are very simplistic. And really, T&C is a game that I find myself going back to just to play that skateboarding section. Whenever I get a game over, I'll start right back over. I just really enjoy that bit of the game. If you've never played it, you should give it a go sometime. You can find it really cheap. My copy was like $4, and even that is over-priced. But it's been well worth what little I had to spend. It's one of my NES carts that's in the constant rotation.

Now, if I had paid $70 or so for it when it first came out? Yeah, I'd hate it to. But as someone just going back to it for really cheap, it really is a lot of fun.

I always forget that this game exists (or that I even own it). Listening to that music certainly brought back some memories. I never really liked this game, but I remember playing it fairly often as a kid for some reason.

I might have played it I might not have. I used to rent NES games from this old computer place then this other video store (that wasn't blockbuster, forgot the name).

Is it like California games?

Eh... I guess the skateboarding is similar to the rollerskating part. I don't really remember anything about California games other than the rollerskating and the half pipe.

Played this game, didn't really care for it. California games is way better.
