| Since we've been making comments about the shit we see on BC... this is something that was a bit of a "WTF" for me.
On the retro board over there, people are talking about PS2. Now... I know it's technically an outdated system. But I don't consider that shit retro. I'd say calling the N64 retro is pushing it, but I'd allow it. _________________ Surrender to all Life Beyond Form Lance of Longinus on Bandcamp Noise Redemption Prophecy on Bandcamp Backloggery Profile |

| N64 isn't retro. Retro is like, NHL 93 on the sega genesis.
Calling N64 retro is like calling Nickelback Classic Rock. These people on BC sound like a bunch of kikelords. |

| Yeah... it sucks over there. I think I said it on the metal board, but to me... it's like it's a bunch of IGN rejects. _________________ Surrender to all Life Beyond Form Lance of Longinus on Bandcamp Noise Redemption Prophecy on Bandcamp Backloggery Profile |

| I do love me some NES. I'm glad I got a new one. I need to get more games for my Genesis. _________________ Surrender to all Life Beyond Form Lance of Longinus on Bandcamp Noise Redemption Prophecy on Bandcamp Backloggery Profile |

| To me SNES and back, but even then I don't really think of it as that retro.
Even though PSone is old I still don't consider it retro. |

| I say, "In high school" because that's when I played it. It was awesome. I'm probably one of the only people who had a link cable for the PSX. My friend would system link Command and Conquer and final doom. |

| I consider two generations back and before to be old-school. So the N64/PSX/Saturn generation and before, I consider old-school. What's considered old-school or not will change over time, like it or not. 100 years from now, people won't be calling stuff like Nickelback modern. |

| I think they'll have to have two eras of old-school/retro.
First generation retro is anything with pixels as graphics.
Second generation is anything with polygons
So first gen ends at SNES, 2nd Gen starts at Jaguar, 3DO, PSX and ends with PS2/Xbox/Dreamcast.
3rd generation will be any HD era games that are old. |
