And I'm not into that type of shit anymore. I used to listen to a lot of Impaled's Death After Life, Carcass's two firsts and some Impetigo, but after a while I just lost interest.

I don't really care for the fast technical stuff anymore. Now if I'm going to listen to something that's heavy I want it to be groovy as well. Aside from Doom and such.

I remember hearing Nasum a while back and liking them. But I never got anything by them. Who knows if I'd still find it enjoyable.

To me grindcore is the fast technical stuff. The music in the first song reminds me of groove metal bands.

Who said Goregrind is restricted to lyrical content? In my opinion, Grind is fast and technical, and Goregrind is the other version. As in:

Most bands under the label of "goregrind" have a similar sound to the Carcass video, and most bands under the label of "grindcore" sound similar to Insect Warfare. Carcass and Insect Warfare are far enough apart to say make a type of subgenre in it.

Once again, opinions opinions opinions. I'm not going to change my idea of them being different genres, and I'm not telling you to. Just saying why I believe Goregrind is a genre.

LDOH is just tuned-out Grindcore. Goregrind is the shit from Razorback Records. Bands like Birdflesh, Frightmare, Impaled, Impetigo, Machetazo, Exhumed, Haemorrhage, Engorged, Lord Gore, Blood Freak, Gruesome Stuff Relish, etc.

I think you get what I'm trying to say. It's pretty much what Exhumed hyped to be "Gore Metal".
