The Rob Zombie one.

I'm definitely a big Halloween fan, but I don't care much for Zombie. I thought House of 1000 Corpses was terrible the first time I saw it (I've since seen it two more times and upgrade it to less-than-terrible but still far-from-good), Devil's Rejects was decent, and I never saw Halloween nor did I ever care to. It just looked awful and I generally am not a fan of modern remakes, especially when at the helm of somebody to the likes of Zombie, horror buff or not. I never really heard anything good from people who have opinions I generally trust, either.

But here's the thing: I just found out that this is not a remake of the original sequel (how's that for an oxymoron? lol). I was originally going to not pay any attention to it, much like I happily did with Zombie's first foray into the series, but this "alternate path," rather than a "reinvisioning," intrigues me. Anybody hear anything actually good about it from anywheres?

I saw the trailer for it in front of Inglourious Basterds. I thought it was a remake I guess I'm mistaken. Looks watchable I suppose. I wouldn't go see it though but wouldn't be against watching it if it came on TV.

It should be called Halloween II II, that's less confusing.

Rob Zombie's Halloween was a remake but with changes made to the story. His version was pretty good. It goes into Michael's past and explains a few things about his upbringing and background. It roughly followed the original film. Some things about his version were far better than the original but it lacked in a few other areas compared to the original.

From the trailers I've seen of the second movie it looks as though the film deviates immensely from the original except for the fact that in one trailer they're in a hospital like the original.

I liked the first. I'll get around to seeing this eventually.

I want to see this really badly. I think it looks even better than the first, and Rob's interviews concerning the movie have made me really hyped for it.

Its on a hot dog bun though. Or do you classify something on a bun like that as a sandwich over there?

Looks like a hoagie/sub bun to me.

If it's between bread it's a sandwich either way. Just different bread are called different types of sandwiches. Like subway calls it a subway sandwich, or sub for short.
