I got Clandestine a few weeks ago along with a few other things. I didn't actually try to listen to it until last night.

That cd is really fucking awesome. Is all of their stuff like that?

Left Hand Path and Clandestine are both brilliant death metal records. Classic stuff. Wolverine Blues is when they started the "death and roll" shtick and a lot of early fans got mad and quit liking them. Their loss though because that is a great album as well - it's just different.

People often get mad at me because I hate how Metallica changed. They accuse me of not wanting a band to change. Well Entombed is proof that I can accept change. I just can't accept suck. Entombed are excellent musicians that write great riffs and songs I like. Their last one, 2007's Serpent Saints is almost a return to their roots.

I hope they keep making records.

You should also hunt down their earlier demos and stuff from when they were called Nihilist - especially if you like the sound of the first 2 albums best.

I love Nihilist, but I don't have any of Entombed's albums yet. Perhaps I should get Left Hand Path and Clandestine sometime.
